Northwest Children's Theater

Likable-enough production of melodic Gershwin tunes, though stretching a bit for cacophonic tap-dancing munchkins to masquerade as grown-up chorus of Broadway babes and lonely cowpokes. Few sparks, but leading man John Ellingson is a natural, Sam Rogers breaks ranks as featured dancer and the cast overall has lots of heart.
