Oregon Cultural Trust
October 1 - 8, 2009
Okay, it's really a week. It's all culture all the time as the Oregon Cultural Trust presents a statewide celebration of Oregon. The Oregon Day of Culture website, www.oregondayofculture.org, lists 391 events were posted in 248 locations from Ashland to Astoria, Boardman to Baker City, Corvallis to Coos Bay, Eugene to Government Camp, Portland to Pendleton, and everywhere in between. Although many of Oregon Day of Culture events - like performances, exhibitions, classes and readings - were already scheduled, plenty were created specifically for the celebration.

Go see Wait Until Dark at Magenta Theater in Vancouver, WA. It is extremely well-done and downright scary. Outstanding performances by Dorinda and Hanah Toner.
