Summary:
This is a wonderfully slapstick commedia dell’arte farce involving two sets of star-crossed lovers, out-of-touch pompous old men, free-wheeling servants, plus a comedic central character who invents over-the-top stories, when the simple truth will do. Lelio, the Liar simply will not tell the truth even when his life and future.
