Sight Unseen

Lunacy Stageworks
June 5 - 27, 2009

Review by peanutduck

Sight Unseen - grappling with Art, the Holocaust, bitter ex-love - teeters between contrivance and daring complexity. Tonight: contrived; without through line. Stephan Henry only mechanically hits beats; Hadley Boyd is shrilly unbelievable. Play belongs to supporting players: understated, forthright Joe Bolenbaugh, and Bridie Harrington, whose intensity immediately captures stage.

Has anyone seen this show yet? I liked it! It's a rather bleak story, but I thought it was well-acted. (And no, I am NOT affiliated with the show in any way.)
