The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged)

Review by peanutduck

Seriously goofy fun whipped up by professed Shakespeare-hater, director Meg Chamberlain, and a quick-tongued threesome: dry, understated Matt Loehrke, hearty Dustin Milberg, bumbling (oft-bosomed) James Sullivan. Plenty ‘o giggle-worthy Portland-insider references; energetic physical play. Kudos to props master Tim Pirnie for fun finds. Scriptural quibble: offensive, out-dated we-are-honky-boys Othello rap.

Haven't seen this production, but the Othello rap is the absolute funniest part of the script.

Offensive is, well, kind of the point, surely?
