The Uneasy Chair

CoHo Productions **Photo credit: Ryan Reeves**
May 8 - June 13, 2009

Summary:

Amelia Pickles is the spinster proprietress of a mildly grand boarding house in London. The retired Captain Josiah Wickett has come into a small inheritance and inquires about Miss Pickles’ room-to-let. Their relationship develops as flint and stone, usually striking the wrong sparks. An ill-advised, but inevitable, Victorian mating dance.

Did anyone catch this? Dave Bodin is always so lovely on stage, I'd like to hear from anyone who has seen it. Or frankly, ANY of the other shows that opened this weekend - there were a ton!

Lipkin has put together a great play. Show was very entertaining. Dave Bodin was in top form as usual. Ben Plont, who stepped in the final two weeks of rehearsal, is hilarious playing several different roles. Well worth making the jaunt to Coho.
