Key Productions takes on Lucas’s (overwritten) exploration of gender’s role in sexual love. Staging is cramped - actors awkwardly navigate around furniture, family scenes find everyone squished together. Marked overacting; Rengert (Peter) without charisma; lovers’ attraction feels forced. Finke (Rita) spot on in second act; wished Blake had larger role.
