Summary:
The Kander and Ebb merry murderess musical. In roaring twenties Chicago, Roxie Hart, an ambitious chorus girl, murders her lover. In the Cook County Jail, she joins famous performer and murderess, Velma Kelly. Both Roxie and Velma boldly seek publicity for the sake of acquittal and their future vaudeville careers.

We saw Chicago last weekend. The singing is first rate--no phony amplification, and the dancing is creative and very energetic. My wife doesn't like musicals but said this one was just done so well that she had a great time. This is one not to miss.
