New Year, New Stuff

So Followspot is changing a bit, but nothing too scary, I promise.

1) Anonymous posting is reinstated, but all comments are going to be administrator moderated. I'll be pretty liberal, but no-content flame posts are not going to get through.

2) Followspot has been separated into three pages. You'll notice the links at the top left corner to the other two. On this page you'll find the 50-word reviews and previews of PORTLAND-AREA shows. And ONLY Portland Area shows. The links in the corner will lead you to Out of Town reviews, and Newsy posts. Feel free to check them out. Sorry for those of you who commented on posts that got moved - the comments were a casualty.

3) Check out the "Labels" section at the end of every post. Not only does it give you a handy link to all the reviews of the same theatre, but it will now give you a handy link to all the reviews by THAT REVIEWER. So you can see what their pattern is. If they have one.

4) We're gonna try to review everything we can. But we all work in the theatre in one way or another, so it's not always possible. But we'll get a post up about every show we hear about - it's never a bad idea to email me at the hotmail address to be sure I know about your show.

5) Opening and Closing listings are back and on the left.

6) Happy Holidays!

Is there any way to have it so that for the recent comments it displays which show is being discussed, like it used to?
I found that to be a very useful tool.

Yeah, we're working on it. There have been some changes to blogger that are making that difficult to effect.

If anyone knows blogger well enough to know how to make this change, please email me at the hotmail address.

Thank you, Followspot, for making the changes. Since the anonymous option has been reinstated, it seems there has been a resurgence of interest and participation in the site.
