Sharp cast delivers on dark family tale of responsibility and neglect. Lean narrative starts at top speed, ends in crushing still life of pain and consequences. In act three, beneath a ghostly reminder of one lost moment, Eric Reid and Deanna Wells tighten emotion, intensify impact of deathly serious story.

Read and Welles tore the place up. They really had me hooked.
Fully engaging script, not without déjà vu vibe to modern archetypes, lacks satisfying dramatic resolution to otherwise cathartic final act. What if first half were saved as backstory and the play started here? Deanna Wells delivers extraordinarily rich, authentic, downright chilling performance — the best I’ve seen in a long time.
