Aw, Tim, you should go out and see As You Like It. The cast is all quite good, and it's going to be a lot of fun.

Well, as much as I try, I can't see everything.

Rocky Horror Show has a likeable cast, a hot band, and the biggest set I've seen at triangle. Gregg Tamblyn avoids the film and puts his own spin on things. The AD's cameo is awkward but forgivable. Columbia is a scene stealer. I'm not a Rocky fan, but this production was a pleasant surprise.

Lovejoy Park was a beautiful setting for this earnest, gutted production of Othello. Some good moments from Desdemona, Emilia and Iago are offset by the horribly miscast, grossly underskilled and inexperienced actor in the titular role, whose face-making and inept bellowing bludgeon the text into oblivion, making melodrama of tragedy.

Whatevergirl was brilliant!!! The band was too overpowering so some songs were drowned out a bit but the writing, the set, the acting was all great. It was too bad it only played a week, someone needs to bring that back!!!

WHATEVER GIRL was a strange and compelling almalgamation of several modern fantasies being portrayed simultaneously. The witty dialogue and plot changes kept the audience entertained and laughing. The one-eyed rappin' dragon, SPITFIRE, was the high point of the show. This show needs a longer run!

Much Ado About Nothing at Quintessence Language and Imagination Theatre:

Spirited but bland, pointless, college-level production of timeless gem left me listless rather than uplifted. The director's singular lack of vision and mostly struggling cast makes this little more than an "In The Parks" production, indoors. Note to A.D.: don't confuse the forest for the trees. Have a reason, please.
