Awfully good production of awful musical. Quite dated book, gangly, unmemorable score. No standing O at Lakewood? That says something: Put this back in the time-capsule. Dual pianos fine accompaniment except sounded electric, even if not. Noteworthy was showstopping Abbondanza trio: Pasquale, Ciccio, Giuseppe (Darren Hurley, Zachary Hoyt, Mark Brown).
