Initial image of adults playing with dolls dissolved into one of the most unique types of performance I’ve ever seen. Deceptively simple sculpted figures added pointed, layered sophistication to simple folk tales. Well-crafted work by collaborative, invested ensemble under Michael Griggs’ conscientious direction. Could this style work with modern stories?
