Death of a Salesman

Artists Repertory Theatre
January 27, 2005

Vivid, lucid production of American tragedy, with able cast led by invincible Allen Nause. As Willy Loman, Nause was, in a word, outstanding. Though skimming occasional tender moments that balance the fireworks, generally straightforward direction ensured the play rightly spoke for itself without going overboard with weepy, morose trappings. Recommended.

Please ART, train the ushers & ticket takers where the seats are located when you reconfigure the seating. Some signage in the lobby with a map would be most useful!
