Portland Center Stage
January 19, 2005
Occasionally tittery one-man storytelling about life’s emptiness within Amazon’s dot-com bubble. I was expecting edgy expose. Instead, soft-core spin and large-print staging made this autobiography merely summer reading, despite surprisingly subtle love and loathing of modern Internet corporate culture. Funny because of its truth, but better comics have better stories.
