Though far from definitive, Chris Coleman has directed an unhurried, even-keeled exploration of Shakespeare’s epic. Supporting cast (including fave Margo Skinner as Goneril) indeed supported Thom Christopher’s king. William Bloodgood’s towering set is effectively concrete and figurative, especially amid Michael Chybowski’s stark white light and Karl Lundberg’s unsettling ambient sound.
