Lock two dimwitted cops in a room with a pedo(phile)-hunting mom, dress-lifting old woman, and chihuahua, and watch them slog through forced shtick, complication. Physical comedy is sharp, Michael O’Connell and John Steinkamp’s bewildered desperation charms, but, overall, jokes are burdened with overlong expository setup and ensemble’s timing continually misses.
