triangle productions
April 2 - **Closed early due to illness**
Review by peanutduck
Money talks, or, in Glorious, sings. Badly; like puppies mid-orgasm. Initially entertaining – Barbara Irvin is irrepressibly wholehearted and oblivious – then interminable; joke fatigues, one-dimensional characters overact, pull faces. But, if you make it through, something wins over in story of a person’s resilience against critics, who heard applause above laughter.

I can't wait to see this.
seems like this has been in the works for quite some time.
with Margie Boule as FFJ, correct?
It was originally going to be Margie in the lead, but that did not pan out.
FYI, David Stabler refers to "a fine pianist who accompanied Irvin with skill and flair." The piano is pre-recorded into a digital keyboard -- RIchard Bower, an amazing pianist helped out this production by playing the piano pieces into the keyboard. Kudos to Michael Teufel, a pianist in his own right, for making the playing appear honest and as if from his own fingers!! Unfortunately, Mr. Bower is uncredited and his talents should not go unnoticed...
actually michael plays many of the tunes.
just not all.
Hm.
There is another musical out there about FFJ called Souvenir. I saw it on Broadway and it was brilliant.
I wonder how they compare?
