Jeffrey Gilpin and Alan King, bewigged, overalled, and platform-heeled, and always tinseled in honestly-played battiness, welcome you to Tuna, Texas, a quintessential nosey parker small town. Though cheekbones ached from smiling, outright laughter less common - King’s hesitancy mixed with Gilpin’s hyper-intensity made for off-beat pacing; scenes need to find levels.
