Holidazed

Review by peanutduck

Racked with liberal guilt, ignorance, mother rescues book-smart, deserving urchin, discovers herself, love along the way. Right prove their rightness, wrong understand wrongness (in five-second reversal). Abundantly clichéd with ham-fisted one-liners, darling gay couple, clueless hubby, plenty of cheesing, packaged in the Susannah Mars Show. Cheers: Todd Van Voris’s wardrobe.

a fun show.
strikes a nice balance between farce and sentiment.
the cast is adept and sincere.
this could become a staple for (more progressive) regional theatres and a holiday tradtion.
i don't think i have ever seen todd van voris give a less than inspired performance -- and i believe i have seeen every show he has ever done in portland.
kudos to all and
happy holidays.

Go see this one. Something for everyone for the holidays. Funny and poingant. Great cast, particulary Suzanna Mars, Michael Mendelson and Todd Van Vorris. The kids make it feel just like home - halarious. Intelligently written and smoothly directed. It's a lot of laughs for this holiday season and a nice change from the standard fare.

I had such a lovely time at this show. Todd Van Voris is always outstanding, and his drag is actually completely realistic and really GOOD. He's actually kind of pretty, too - can he be bad at anything? (-; Smart. sassy and silly. Loved it.

This has got to be my favorite holiday show ever. Fun, funny, wonderfully done.
