Summary:

A theatricalization of the fantastic ideas and images of Polish author Bruno Schulz under the direction of Luba Zarembinska of Teatr Stacja Szamocin. Having seen it on "pay-what-you-will" night (the evening before opening night), I'd describe it as fascinating, tastily erotic, visually rich and, in parts, unexpectedly fun. Nice, too, to see work that's evocative and not over-explained. Kudos to the two companies involved for surmounting the logistical challenges of working together. I think it'll stick in my mind for a long time.

P.S. Foot fetishists and devotees of period lingerie take note-- you'll be glad you came.
