The Light Fingered Five
February 28 and March 13, 2008
Review by Followspot
Portland is seriously lacking in good short-form improv, and the Light Fingered Five (actually six) try hard to fix that. The effect? Reasonably good. The opening game was painfully riddled with denials. Rest of the first act was funny and original. Stop denying audience suggestions, guys - take what you're given.

I saw them on March 13 and didn't see the problems you are talking about. They took as many suggestions as other improv groups, and took them in some very interesting places. I certainly did not see any blocking from inside the troupe. They mentioned a possibility of continuing to play at the Hungry Tiger Too, and if they do I suggest catching them, it made me laugh a quite a few times.
