Thom Pain (based on nothing)

Our Shoes Are Red / The Performance Lab
August 30, 2007; closes September 16, 2007

Feeling Thom’s pain. Eno excavates the life of one wounded man in a surprisingly funny play. Whistling through his teeth, Matthew DiBiasio gently tip toes between self disgust and genuine longing to connect – with the audience if no one else is available in his barren moonscape. Long silences beautifully done.

Is this a PSU production?

No, no connection (other than location) to PSU.

I'm glad that the first picture ever of a person within the threads is of a guy about to drool!

what a wonderful piece of theatre - engaging, provocative, unexpected turns, - Beckett would be proud. Matthew DiBiasio is mesmerizing. You know I should stop. This is just me in love with absurdist theatre - see it yourself. And thanks to Devon Allen for making Portland her home. I'm looking forward to her next Our Shoes are Red/The Performance Lab project.

Going forward the goal is to have a photo for every post.

If people want to send in photos that go with existing posts (from the 2007-2008 season), I will be happy to go back and add them.

I think photos can add a lot.
