One character in search of an author. And a girl. Barnaby King is simultaneously downtrodden, triumphant, gleeful, deluded, and broken-hearted in this touching work waiting to happen. Basic details of character’s plight quickly gleaned. Show potential feels larger than current configuration, but evening ignites when audience member takes the stage.
