Trisha Pancio Armour: On art, audiences and positioning Portland as a platform from which to launch new work

Interview by Followspot (PDF)
July 2006

PATA president and ART marketing director is equal parts left brain and right brain. She’s an artist who compares directing to calculus and an administrator who can quantify the human experience. She’s wildly passionate about theater but in possession of a clear, practical vision of how to sell the sizzle.

Terrific article. I've known Trisha for several years and am always impressed at how well spoken and passionate she is about theater. She may just get me to join PATA yet, and I'm not even an actor! Oh, and for the uninformed... what is "DIY" theater?
