Clackamas Repertory Theatre
July 8, 2006; closes July 30, 2006
Another reason to get outta Dodge: surprisingly solid suburban summer-stock gives Portland theater-goers refreshing change of scenery. Recurring scene/costume changes created thumb-twiddling between-number lulls (perfect for cabaret cocktail chatter); direction/choreography were sorta milquetoast. Still, cast charisma and commitment to the material make the trip worthwhile. Keep an eye on Clackamas.

Great play!!! The Oregonian reviewer got it all wrong. The script was written to be funny. The parts that had more depth, showed it on the stage.
I heart Leif Norby.
