You are cordially invited to a Midseason Martini Mixer for theatre artists and audiences 5-9 p.m., Vault Martini Bar (226 NW 12th Ave.), Monday, Jan. 30. Vault is generously contributing a percentage of food/beverage sales to benefit the 2006 Drammy ceremony. Door prizes; special guest Sam Adams; and mucho fun.

And to answer your questions: No, there’s no cover; regular bar, kitchen menus available; percentage of sales to benefit the Drammys.
And, no, you don’t have to RSVP, but if you wanna tell me you’re coming to ease my mind that I won’t be drinking alone, by all means …

Here's another opportunity to have a drink and talk shop:
This is it -- the big weekend of citywide auditions coordinated by the Portland Area Theatre Alliance (www.patagreenroom.org).
And, naturally, a party!
Whether you are auditioning this weekend or not, you are invited to Cassidy's for an Audition Wrap Party to celebrate and mingle with the auditors and your fellow actors. PATA's even providing the munchies.
Then perhaps, after everyone has had a few drinks, we'll do a Special Skills Talent Show. Are you extraordinarily flexible? Can you speak fluent Portuguese? Do a great Al Pachino impression? C'mon, when's the last time you showed off those skills on the bottom of your resume? Now's your chance! You'll have 30 seconds to do just that. (Applause and accolades are free to those who try.)
We'll also have some acoustic music for you to enjoy.
