Sowelu theater
December 4, 2005; closes December 17, 2005
a guest review from james moore:
a complex, well-paced performance. with minimal blocking, Afsaneh Boutorabi portrays a woman dealing with issues of privilege, justice and guilt in a hotel in an unnamed foreign country. audience implication and moments of honesty shine, despite didactic lapses. a timely, refreshing tonic to the jingling bells and decked halls elsewhere.
