Audience really enjoyed this oddball comedy, despite uneven cast’s occasional taffy-pulling performance. “Competent” said colleague but, to me, a little long and a little bland without much momentum. Perhaps could have benefited from lighter hand with more tongue in cheek; less accent and more goofiness, quirkiness. Production’s technical elements OK.
