Miracle Theatre Group

Rousing, blustery call to arms strong-armed Miracle’s gentle élan into macho machinations--intensely passionate, sometimes over-articulated. Shrewd, vigorous use of constructivist scaffold set interrupted by single entrance/exit. Rabble-doubling detracted from de Vega’s huge canvas. Not fan (many were) of rhymed verse, especially when action stalled, but production gave it life.
