In its fifth season, Quintessence offers “plays about love and wit.” Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing matched with Portland playwright Connor Kerns’ Time. Love. Triangle. Plus single performance of Kerns’ similarly themed “short playlets.” Prediction: Q’s classic will trump hometown talent. But where there’s creation, there’s always hope, isn’t there?
