Simple, straightforward and sizzlin’ -- a natural, unforced rendition of hulking Pulitzer drama about selling and scamming. Production elements are functional at best, but it doesn’t matter with this perfectly-paced cast filled with raging testosterone. John Morrison, Danny Bruno, David Burnett and Don Alder (who also directs) really sell it.
