I'm curious as to how House and Garden will be physically possible at ART; are the actors going to have to go through firefighter training to be able to run the stairs? Or maybe they'll run around the block; that would be a show in itself.
If someone can send me a link to OCT and NWCTS seasons listed online (or a copy of their press release), I'll start new threads for them. followspot@hotmail.com
Hey, I think Jeff's got a point! ART is missing a bet - they should erect bleachers outside the theatre and sell seats for $5.00 to watch the actors madly run around the building to get into the other space :)
I'll be very interested to see how they pull off History Boys.
ReplyDeleteHouse and Garden seems really really exciting.
ReplyDeleteI too am excited to see what House and Garden are like.
ReplyDeleteAnd speaking of next year's seasons, have any other theater made announcements yet?

ReplyDeletePortland Center Stage, Oregon Children's Theater, and Northwest Children's Theater have announced their season.

ReplyDeleteDon't know about NWCT, but here's the link for OCT's season:

It's on the right hand side of the page in the green box.
I don't think NWCT has it posted but I went to their auction where they announced the new season it consists of:
ReplyDeleteHONK, BEAUTY & THE BEAST (..again), GO! DOG! GO, THE DEVIL AND DANIEL WEBSTER, and SLEEPING BEAUTY.

ReplyDeleteI don't see it listed here but I saw "A Streetcar Named Desire" listed on ART's site.
